SmileBaba dump Ghone TV and EIB Network to concentrate on his Online TV Platform, S24stream


Smile Baba is all about carefully controlling his image at all times. But not this week when he gets the internet ablaze on his departure from one of Ghana’s most watched TV network, GHone TV.

Smile Baba will crown his position as one of Africa’s most powerful media moguls by starting his own television network after deciding to pull off his top-rated pan African entertainment show “Smile Time Africa” from EIB’s owned TV network, GHone TV.

The King of talk, Smile Baba, announced live on his personal social media account (Facebook) on Thursday that he has finally drawn the curtain, on leaving EIB’s owned TV network, GHone TV for good.

“It’s been over 4yrs of great relationship and content delivery. I have enjoyed my partnership with Ghone tv but there comes a time in a mans live that he has to create something new and build a platform of his. I hereby announce my departure from Ghone tv to focus on my brand S24Stream. Wouldn’t have gotten this far without the support of the former and current owners of the station.  
I hope you all stream and download S24Stream via web and app. I believe the future is all about online streaming and online content delivery. I wish the station well in their future endeavors and pray the good lord continue to strengthen them in all they do.

The decision made by the business mogul sparked an outpouring of tributes to Africa’s “king of Talk" from viewers and many of the celebrities who have been interviewed on his highly rated pan African E show.
Baba’s Accra-based show has made him a billionaire and allowed him to become one of the most powerful men in the continent.

He will now become even more influential as he moves on to head “s24stream” a Smile Entertainment Limited initiative that will be based in Accra-Ghana and aims to reach 70 million homes in Africa. Smile Baba may also host a new version of his show on the streaming platform tagged “Smile In The Morning”.

According search conducted by our team, philanthropist, Smile Baba has also commenced with an NGO, Smilebaba Foundation set to putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged and in the hours after his announcement fans on the internet applauded him on his contribution to the African entertainment industry.
