Kenyan Girl Who Went Viral With Alicia Keys' Song "Girl on Fire" Signs Record Deal

Gracious Amani has signed a deal with Pine Creek Records and has also adopted the name Amani G. Amani came into the limelight after her rendition of the Alicia Keys hit song, Girl on Fire, went viral.

The young songstress will go by the stage name 'Amani G' and is set to shoot a video for her first single 'Sitasahau.'

The 13-year-old songstress will benefit from the two-year-deal with a minimum pay of Ksh. 2.5 Million with no limit on the upside. With her being a minor she cannot sign a work contract and will therefore benefit from a trust that is set up by her mother, Christine Ambuso, and Peter Nduati.

Pine Creek Records has also taken care of her general upkeep that includes school fees, healthcare, housing, food, clothing and security.

Pine Creek Records was founded 10 years ago as an artist management company. Pine Creek has handled well known artists such as Mr. Lenny, Atemi, Anto-Neo Soul and Wendy Kimani.
