Cardi B Postpones Indianapolis Concert Because Of An “Unverified Threat”

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Cardi B was forced to postpone last night's scheduled concert in the Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The IMPD confirmed an "unverified threat" was made against the Hip Hop star. The show was rescheduled for September 11.

"Dear Indiana people I’m so sorry for today. I will like to let you know I was at the venue I was even rehearsing a new move I been excited to do on my show. Unfortunately there was a security threat that is currently under investigation right now. My safety and your safety first," tweeted Cardi following the postponement.

The Grammy winner has been very outspoken about President Donald Trump's controversial policies and the American political system. She recently met with Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Cardi also showed support for Representative Ilhan Omar after Trump targeted the Congresswoman with racist and xenophobic tweets.
